Important Notice

Home-Start Staffordshire Moorlands closed on 30th June 2026 after 28 years of supporting families across the district.

That decision was not made lightly. Like a number of other small local charities, we have been facing increasing funding challenges in recent years, with fewer grants available and growing competition for limited resources.

It was no longer possible for us to continue delivering our services in a sustainable way. Despite the dedication of our amazing volunteers and supporters, we reached a point where closing was the only viable option.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported our work over the years – our volunteers, partners, supporters and the local community. Your commitment has made a real difference to hundreds of families, helping to improve the lives of thousands of children, and we are proud of what we have achieved together. Without our volunteers many families would be left in isolation, often at the very edge of crisis.
