It is with great sadness that we announce that Home-Start Staffordshire Moorlands will be closing on 30th June after 28 years of supporting families across the district.
This decision has not been made lightly. Like a number of other small local charities, we have been facing increasing funding challenges in recent years, with fewer grants available and growing competition for limited resources.
It is now impossible for us to continue delivering our services in a sustainable way. Despite the dedication of our amazing volunteers and supporters, we have reached a point where closing is the only viable option.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported our work over the years – our volunteers, partners, supporters and the local community. Your commitment has made a real difference to hundreds of families, helping to improve the lives of thousands of children, and we are proud of what we have achieved together. Without our volunteers many families would be left in isolation, often at the very edge of crisis.
